Wendy has over 30 years of experience working in childcare. Wendy is driven in her work by the great big smiles she receives every single morning when the children arrive here at St Mary’s Preschool.
Being part of the development of our children, day in and day out, helping them grow into their future selves is something Wendy finds extremely rewarding. Her calm approach to all situations, humility, compassion and selflessness shines through in Wendy’s work within our preschool community. Wendy knows preschoolers are about today, not tomorrow or yesterday. It’s our job as educators to follow their interests, listen to their voices and be guided by them. This understanding makes her a fantastic contributor to play-based learning, which is something Wendy finds very special.
