Our Preschool Community

St Mary’s Preschool is administered by a committee of delegates consisting of both parents, parish representatives, and interested members of the community. Together, they work collaboratively with Leadership to support the governance, sustainability, and ongoing growth of our Preschool.

As a long-standing part of the Tamworth community, we deeply value the relationships we build with local families, organisations, traditional custodians and community groups. Through meaningful partnerships, excursions, intergenerational experiences, and community projects, children are supported to develop a strong sense of belonging and connection to the world around them.

At St Mary’s, we are a community of learners, and we are proud of our meaningful community connections, which continue to enrich and shape the life of our Preschool.

Non-For-Profit Organisation

St Mary’s Preschool proudly operates as a non-for-profit organisation, with all funds directly supporting the children and daily life of our Preschool community. While we receive government funding, additional fundraising and community support help us continue to enhance our learning environments, resources, and equipment for the benefit of the children.

Fundraising events are an important part of our Preschool community and reflect the wonderful generosity and involvement of our families and wider community. Every contribution, big or small, helps us continue creating meaningful opportunities and enriching experiences for the children attending St Mary’s Preschool.
