Donna

Donna studied Early Childhood Education at Newcastle University after leaving school and has been in the Early Childhood field for the past twenty five years. Initially Donna worked in a mainstream preschool before shifting into a special education role, working and coordinating an Early Childhood Intervention service. Donna also completed a post graduate Special Education degree to further her skills in working with young children. and is currently enjoying her time as an Educator at St Mary's Preschool.

Donna is currently enjoying her time as an Educator at St Mary’s Preschool, commencing her role at the beginning of 2023 in a part-time, 3-day per week capacity. Donna loves working with the children, families and the St Mary’s team which fits very much in with her philosophy around community-based partnerships and supporting all children to grow and learn. Donna appreciates the sustainability values that St Mary's Preschool strives towards, to instill environmental values in ‘adults of tomorrow’.

Away from Preschool, Donna enjoys her home life, pottering in the garden, going to the gym and spending time with her family.
